In its liquid form, silicone rubber is a synthetically produced material that is created by bonding together polysiloxanes. The element that forms the basis for all types of silicone is silicon (in latin Silicium) . We use the highest quality two-component liquid silicone rubber (LSR).
After mixing the two components together, we inject the cool mixture into molds and then vulcanize the material at high temperatures. Vulcanization creates the resulting silicone product from this mixture and gives it its an excellent combination of characteristics and an endless number of applications. Silicone can also be combined with other materials (stainless steel, polycarbonate, plastics, textile, etc.).
Sterilization options:
- GAMMA irradiation
- Autoclave
- EtO Sterilization
